I am delighted to announce that the contract arrived yesterday for my picture book, Samuel’s Kisses. This one was accepted way back in March, so it goes to show just how much patience is involved in the publishing process. I’ll announce the publisher in a few days when I get the official contract signed and returned to me. I just want to make sure everything is absolutely sorted and finalised before I shout the details to the world. I will say, however, that I am super excited to be working with them. Stay tuned!

Woo hoo! Congratulations!!!
Hi Karen, Congratulations on your success! It always makes me feel good when another writer gets to that place where they can stand on the summit of sweat and hard work and feel the achievement at long last. I found you via Dr. Tom Bibey’s website. He recommended I visit you blog as we both write for children. I will be back to visit again and to enjoy hearing about your experiences as a published author.
How wonderful Karen! I’m excited and so happy for you!
