Lull

I’m in a lull. It’s only natural considering how chaotic my life has been recently. Apart from my unexpected trip to hospital and subsequent recovery, I feel like life has been out of kilter. I haven’t been allowed to go to the gym for 4 weeks to allow my internal stitches knit together nicely where my gallbladder used to be, so my days aren’t beginning like they used to. I’m also lacking the energy burst I get from exercising. Then we’ve had a pretty hectic social life. It’s been great, but very busy. With playgroup, swimming and church standing engagements each week, anything extra just makes a busy week busier. The twins’ 1st birthday was wonderful but it really did consume most of my spare time for a good week planning, shopping and creating delicious party treats to be mashed by little, grubby fingers. The day after the boys’ birthday we took the chance to go to Movieworld for the afternoon and the next day went on a 4WD trip with a heap of friends. All in all it’s been fun, but I haven’t had time to write. And I miss writing.
