Success is more fun when it’s shared. So I’m sharing, OK?
I entered a short story competition a few months ago, purely as an avenue of exploration. I had never really written a short story and to be honest, I wasn’t even sure I could. I sat down with my trusty NEO and began to write…For once in my life I was a true ‘pantser’ and didn’t have a clue where the story was going. Where it ended however, took me by surprise. I had written my first ridgy-didge short story, Glow. (You can read it here.)
Deciding to act courageously, I investigated the range of short story competitions around and chose Skive Magazine, purely because of the closing date of the competition.
